Managing Director

QLM Search is partnering with a market leading Ingredients/Flavors group with the hire of a newly created GM / VP position. Reporting to the CEO (based internationally) you will manage the leadership team of this specialist manufacturing business. You will have full regional P&L responsibility and for setting the NOAM regional strategic objectives and driving performance to exceed customer expectations.

• Leading the business, with full responsibility for P&L, capex and all functions on site to achieve strategic goals in line with group expectation;
• Driving the simplification of production processes through standardization, technology and innovation, and the implementation of Lean methodologies
• Working collaboratively with customers and the commercial team to effectively manage and develop current and future business plans;
• Manage teams across Sales, Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance and HR
• Implementing and developing a continuous improvement mindset, accountability and communication across the site and a clear focus on delivery of core activities.

To apply, you must be a highly motivated, hands-on leader with deep rooted Ingredients and/or Flavor sector experience. You will likely already have operated as a business unit/region GM or might have been working in this sector as an outstanding Operations or Sales leader where you can evidence leadership of other business disciplines (ops/sales/HR, finance).
