SVP Research & Development

Our client, an innovative and market leading Ingredients & Flavors business, specialising in Beverage, is recruiting for a newly created VP R&D that will report to the CEO and be a part of the Executive leadership team. In this position you will lead global innovation to shape, drive and implement the global strategy.

• Manage a large global team across R&D, innovation, applications, sensory, quality and regulatory
• Develop the innovation plan and pipeline aligned to the groups objectives
• NPD from idea to sale whilst working closely with all internal teams
• Work closely with executive leaders and teams across marketing, sales and supply chain
• Manage all aspects of sustainability through R&D with close collaboration with manufacturing, packaging and procurement

Candidates will need to be experienced Senior level R&D leaders, who have sat on leadership teams, and who have worked for Flavor groups with a strong history of success through innovation and applications. You could also have worked in beverage, or B2B ingredients businesses where Flavor was a key aspect of your remit throughout your experience. You will be degree educated, Food Science and or Flavor Chemistry is preferred as is the need to be a commercially minded R&D leader to drive strategy, not just in R&D, but at a global level with your leadership group.
